Often, low self-esteem and a lack of confidence gets mislabeled as a "phase" or parents think, "She will grow out of it, this is just how teen girls are." The reality is though, in many cases, it’s not a phase and she may carry these issues with her for the rest of her life. Our goal is to change this. We give young women the tools and support they need to change the statistics. Our programs address many of the obstacles young women face everyday including how to make and keep positive friendships, learning to accept and love your body, how to deal with and overcome bullying, stress management, self-care plus many more. We are here to help the girl in your life become Free to Be happy, confident and herself. freetobemovement.com @free.to.be.movement

Business Review

This place and the staff are so positive and relevant. FTB has had a huge impact on my kiddo. Thank you!

Free to Be is an amazing space for girls. My daughter has been coming here for over a year and it is the highlight of her week. They do a great job of bringing the girls together in a fun, creative, and supportive environment. They cover age-appropriate topics, do weekly crafts, and the best part is they build a great community of friends. And the owner Jaime and her staff are so caring and amazing. I highly recommend!

After attending a few summer sessions, my 8 year old became a member and started attending the weekly Girl Squad as well as the monthly special events.  Initially a bit reserved, she warmed up quickly to the open and inviting Free to Be peer community.   While I have great appreciation for topics discussed and explored (self-acceptance, health, consent, etc.), she appreciates the arts and movement incorporated into each session.  Free to Be has created a safe space for what can sometimes feel like tough conversations and I appreciate how the program reiterates the lessons we try to teach at home.  I feel a great sense of relief knowing that she has a community in which she, "can share my emotions and make new friends."" No parent can be everything for their child and with the Free to Be opportunities, I don't feel like I have to."
