At HSPK, children ages 2.5 - 5 years old are empowered to discover, inquire, and investigate in an environment that nurtures the joy of childhood and guides the development of well-rounded skills. As our preschool has evolved through the years, we have remained committed to stay up to date with current early childhood best practices. We compliment the Montessori method with a combination of research-proven philosophies that include Play-Based, Steam, and Reggio Emilia to broaden experiences for our multitude of learners and their individual learning styles.

The multi-age environment provides a variety of avenues for both independent and interactive engagement aiding skill development for effective problem-solving, role modeling, communication, collaboration, and mentoring.

Outdoor Play is an important part of our world. Children love to imagine on our natural playground, plant and harvest fruits and vegetables in the organic garden, and sled on the hills when the outdoors becomes a winter wonderland.

The diversity of our HSPK families creates an inspiring, multicultural environment. Children and families at Har Shalom Preschool enjoy sharing celebrations, languages, and cultures with each other. Jewish holidays are celebrated throughout the year filled with fun, age-appropriate curriculum and events.

Business Review

My daughter attended this heartwarming preschool from ages 3-5 and it was the best experience. From the curriculum to the teachers, I can’t say enough good things about this school. My daughter felt safe and loved while there and learned so much! This preschool will always hold a special place in our hearts!

I could not say better things about Har Shalom Preschool. They are thoughtful, caring, kind, and devoted. The teachers are incredible, and the leadership is very intentional. Leaving your kids in the care of others can be a challenging experience, and Har Shalom makes is so much easier because of my confidence in the way they love and take care of my daughter. She has grown socially, emotionally, and intellectually in her time at Har Shalom! We are so grateful!"
