The Health District of Northern Larimer County is a special tax district which provides health services for free or on a sliding fee scale to district residents. Our programs include:
• CAYAC (Child, Adolescent, and Young Adult Connections) and Adult Connections behavioral health programs which provide a range of behavioral health services to youth and adults.
•Family Dental Clinic which offers care including cleanings, dentures, crowns, bridges, etc. The clinic is available to individuals and families who are on Medicaid or do not have dental insurance.
• Larimer Health Connect which assists individuals to navigate and enroll in health insurance including Medicaid, Connect for Health Colorado plans, and Medicare.
• Prescription Assistance which connects district residents to reasonably priced prescription options when they are uninsured or when the copay is not affordable. Financial assistance may be available to those who qualify.
• Our Community Impact Team which provides free training about our Changing Minds campaign to reduce stigma around substance use disorder, and provides Opioid Overdose Awareness and Narcan Trainings and materials.
Our ultimate goal as an agency is to fill unmet health gaps in the community, and in particular we work to reach and support underserved populations.
